Shaelyn

Shae wanted to take some pictures with sunflowers, so we ventured out on Saturday afternoon and got a few shots with the ones that were still good! Can you say beautiful?

I can't wait to take the rest!

Carson!

My little buddy, Carson, was my second client in the brand new studio! It's hard to believe that he's already going to be 2!

Little L

Little L was my first session in my new studio space! She was such a little honey and we played outside for awhile, too! Being right on Main Street is great because there are so many fun places nearby to go to!

The Lick Family

I met with the Lick family last week early in the morning at their farm. Since I've been super busy with the Threshing Bee, I'm finally getting the sneak peek posted!

Little T has any girl's dream playhouse!

They are such a cute family. I can't wait for them to see the rest of their photos!

John and Kylie

After the busy busy weekend, I am finally getting some pictures posted from John and Kylie's wedding!

The first look is always one of the highlights of the day.

Ring pictures are also another highlight of my day! I think I've mentioned this before, but I love finding fun ways to display them!

The reception was held near Big Stone Lake and it was any photographers dream!

The ring bearer was ADORABLE and he put up with me longer than most children do! :)

I had a blast celebrating your day with you! Thank you so much and congratulations!

Rosholt Threshing Bee 2009

What a great weekend! The weather on Saturday was a little soggy, but Sunday turned out to be beautiful! Here are some photos I took on Sunday.

Now, the winner of the FREE Session.... *drumroll*...

Annette Hahn of Rosholt!

Congratulations!

Sunday, August 16, 2009

I have been so busy and I finally am posting a picture of the outside of my studio! I put the pictures in the windows on Friday night. I've already gotten a ton of compliments! I'm pretty pleased with how it turned out!

This weekend was also the Threshing Bee in Rosholt. I had a booth in the Craft Fair building, but I didn't have time to take a picture! I did have a drawing for the Free Session and I already had my little cousin draw a name! To add some suspense, I'm going to post the winner tomorrow!

Amanda and John

I met with Amanda and John yesterday in Wahpeton... and it was RAINING! Nothing showed up on the weather radar, but there must have been one cloud above the park! We made it work and still got some awesome shots!

The Studio - Day ????

My other Uppercase Living designs came by FedEx today! I already got them up. They look great!

I also have my backdrops all moved in, but I still have some situating to do.

Hopefully I will get it all ready to go next week, as things are pretty busy with the Bee this weekend!

Busy Busy Busy.

I had a very busy weekend with a wedding and a Senior session. I also moved most of my backgrounds, props, and etc. into my studio this afternoon! To add to all of that, I have an engagement session tomorrow!

This is just one picture from yesterday! Check back this week for more!

The Studio - Day ???

I got a few things up on the walls this last week and even put up the background stand! Hooray! I will be doing a lot of work in there next week and hopefully it'll be all ready to go! I got some items for my window displays (which I am SUPER excited about) and another chair. I just need a desk and chair for me yet!

Here are some photos from Friday.

I have a very busy week coming up, but I will have lots of blog posts from sessions and a wedding this weekend!

The Studio - Day ??

I have last count on the days that I've been working on the studio, but I'm super excited for what happened today! The UPS man brought me my awesome window sign! I went up and put it on right away! Goodbye "Coming Soon," hello Awesome New Sign! In case you are wondering, I ordered it from Uppercase Living. Now I just need to get the pictures in the windows!

View of the front door. I just love it! I'm also going to be adding another design to this window and it should be here next week!

Another Uppercase Living design. The dressing room door needs to be labeled, right? I didn't want something that just said 'Dressing Room' and I found this design in the catalog!

Closer view of my sign in the window!

The Steffens Crew!

I met with these cute kiddos just this morning! We hung out at the Threshing Bee Grounds in Rosholt and wandered around. The Bee is next weekend, so everything is looking really nice! This is probably one of my favorite times of the year to take pictures anyway, just because I love how wheat looks in pictures!

This is what you call 'Field Diving.' It's going to be a new Olympic sport next year, I heard... :) And of course, just like water, you have to plug your nose when you go in the wheat. I give him a 10!

I don't have any sisters, but if I did, I would have probably wanted this shirt, too. :) It says 'Will trade sister for tractor.' He was pretty excited because he could get TWO tractors since he has two sisters! I told his sisters to look like they were mad and annoyed at him and they did a good job at it! They must practice a lot at home! :)

Michael and Ashton

I met Michael and Ashton on Tuesday afternoon. They are cousins and will both be graduating next spring. They both love wake boarding and being at the lake, so we did the first set of shots at Lake Elsie. There was no one else on the water and it was SO smooth. I've never seen it so still! We took some awesome action shots, some still shots, and some fun shots.

I was very impressed with their wake boarding skills!

This is one of my favorites from the day. I love it in black and white!

Did I mention that these two were hilarious? This next picture is a very good example of what their personalities are like!

Michael will be doing the rest of his session soon. Some will involve dirt bikes and snowboards! I can't wait!
