No Tricks Here!

Justin!

Justin is a Senior at BHS and was another session I had over the weekend! Here are a few of my favorites from his session!

The Hahn Family!

This was just one of my sessions over the weekend. It started to rain after we took the big group shot, so we headed indoor for the smaller group photos. I'm pretty convinced that Rosholt is the perfect spot for my studio. I can have my indoor studio space, rural areas, and urban looking brick... all within a block!

Holy stinking cuteness, Batman! :)

Nick & Sarah!

Nick and Sarah came in today for their engagement pictures. We started in the studio and then headed out to an old farm.

Most of the time, I get a lot of requests for different pictures. Sarah just had one request... a piggy back picture!

The Nester Family!

I met with the Nester family Thursday night in Fargo! Tami and I used to work together and it was nice to see them again! They look great in the fall colors!

They have three boys, who I'm sure never get into trouble. :) They would just have to smile at me and they'd get away with it! They are so darn cute!

Kyle!

Kyle is a Senior at Sisseton this year. I met him on his farm on Sunday to take his senior pictures! We ventured all over the yard and then back behind the house down near a small creek. It was beautiful! Here are just a few shots from the day.

Thomas!

Tom is a Senior at RHS this year. He is also a fellow Mac user and VERY creative. He has his own YouTube stream full of videos and shenanigans. You can view it here, but I have to tell you... Tom and I have a contest going for the amount of views on our websites. So if you view his, I'd appreciate at least five views on my site. :) Haha! All kidding aside, I had a great afternoon with him and his mom. Here is a super sneaky sneak peek:

Fall Fun!

Last Sunday, my poor client had the flu, so we had to reschedule! That means I had the day off and my cousins happened to be over at my Grandparent's house. We spent most of the day playing out in the yard with the kids.

We made leaf piles and they helped rake and, of course, jumped (or flew!) into them!

They explored the big farm yard just like we used to do.

And they even got to sit in the combine!

Good thing we raked then, because now I hear the yard is full of snow!

Bullwinkle?!

On Monday morning, I was driving to Wahpeton for an eye doctor appointment. I saw something black standing on the edge of the field and I slowed down. I was driving pretty slowly anyway, since it was snowing. As I got closer, I saw it was moving into the snowy cornfield. "A MOOSE!" I scrambled for my camera and took this shot.

As I tried to get a little closer, he just kept walking into the field and disappeared!

This morning on the news, I saw there is a moose in Fargo right now. It's causing a little bit of commotion while they are trying to capture it and move it out for everyone's safety. I think it's the moose I saw on Monday, just wanting another photo shoot. :) He must have followed me back to Fargo!

Jim, Cassie, and Kiley!

I met these three downtown in Fargo on Thursday evening. (Thursday would be after the rain was done and just as the cold was starting, but before the snow!) It was a bit chilly, but they braved it and we got some great pictures!

Kiley also likes the graffiti wall. :) She said it was too cold to take another picture, unless it was on this wall.

Enjoy your sneak peek! The rest will be up soon!

Spooooooooooooky.

I hope, when you are driving down Main in Rosholt, my studio does not scare you. It is pretty scary. ;) Especially the little white monster in the corner. (Hee hee!)

Cassandra & Mitch

I met with Cassandra and Mitch this morning. They are such a fun couple! The house we met at first is so stinking cute and we're going to use it for their wedding pictures next summer, too!

Mitch is very tall, so I think this picture suits them quite well!

I love this building!

Enjoy your sneak peek! :)

Cute Family!

I met with this family in Rosholt last weekend. We had a great time wandering around finding great spots!

They have the cutest girls!

Raider VB

I headed to Colfax last Tuesday to watch my little cousin play some volleyball! It was a great game and Rosholt came out with the win! Good job, girls!

The JV won, too!
