Thank you for everything.

Six years ago I jumped in feet first to the wonderful world of photography. I always loved taking pictures and I decided it might be the right path for me. The business grew faster than expected and I have been on Main Street in Rosholt for 4 years now. The business got me through my second round of college and gave me the job freedom I wanted. It has been great and I’ve loved capturing all of your memories whether it be weddings, your newborn, your growing family, or your teen getting ready for his or her last year of high school.

This past year has been full of sleepless nights catching up with studio work and lesson planning. It just got to be more than I could handle with teaching and advising after school. You may have seen me selling some items from the studio and I can’t avoid the questions any longer. I will be no longer taking photos for the public. For fun, yes, but as a business, no.

To those of you who currently have a session booked, this will not affect you at all. Everything will go as usual including graduation and Christmas cards. I do still have about 8 sessions left for those wanting to get in before I put the lens-cap back on for the public.  If you would like to book a session, please contact me via email or give me a call.

This was one of the toughest decisions I have made and I know it will disappoint many, but I don’t feel as if I can give the studio, or you, the full attention that it needs. Thank you all for a great experience and I hope I have captured memories you will cherish always.

My prodigy 4 year old niece, Grace, took these photos. Maybe in a few years she will be the one to call!

Kinsley is 2!

I loved this set up from Kinsley's session so I thought I'd share a few more!

What I've been up to...

Things have been quiet around the RAP pages as I took a few weeks off from sessions to spend time with my family. While I have still been doing plenty of work filling orders, booking sessions, and many other things, it has been great to be able to spoil my niece and nephews!

Early January brought Sesame Street Live. I gave Grace tickets for Christmas and we had a great day eating pizza, riding escalators, meeting Elmo and Rosita, and doing other things that 4 year olds love to do.

Gavin's 2nd birthday was this month and after a weather postponement, we all got together last weekend to celebrate!

While I love being able to spoil my G's, it's time to get back to work! I am now booking sessions through May. I have a few sessions left in March and am just opening April and May. Be sure to call or email me soon!

Enjoy the snow day! :)
